As part of our year ritual of encouraging students to read during the season holidays, we have decided to choose four Xmas topics to work on:  The Xmas Tree, Xmas Dinner, Xmas presents and Carol Singing; therefore we have found some stories to read which contain each of the topics.  From "A Christmas Memory" by American contemporary writer, Truman Capote, we have a vivid description of what was cutting a tree and putting it up.
